One of the easiest ways you can spice up your wardrobe is by having a variety of jackets that you cycle through.
This is especially true if you live in a place that doesn’t have the warmest weather – jackets take priority over any other article of clothing.
1. Denim Jacket
Denim jackets are supremely versatile and come in so many different styles and colors that I consider them a staple in every man’s wardrobe.
My two favorite styles of denim jacket are the original classic style and the fur lined style.
2. Leather Jackets
Leather jackets can look great when pulled off correctly. The biggest mistake I see with leather jackets is wearing one that is ill fitting. This usually means the jacket itself is too big, or the sleeves are too long and loose.
A leather jacket should hug the body and the sleeves should never be over-sized, which is the problem I find with most generic brands that sell leather jackets.
3. Bomber Jackets
Bomber jackets come in probably the largest variety of styles and sizes. You can have plain and slim bomber, or loud and puffy bombers. It all really depends on what you personally like.
Windbreakers are a great light jacket you can wear on days where the weather isn’t amazing, but not bad enough to where you need a heavier jacket.
It’s a lot more casual too, which makes it a great jacket for when you’re running errands.
5. Winter Jacket
This is perhaps the most important jacket you’ll own, especially if you live in a very cold climate (sup Canadians?).
This is where I recommend you invest in a high quality jacket that will last you years and still look good.
