The Adidas ultraboosts are probably my favorite casual sneakers of all time.
I wear them to the gym, I wear them out to do errands and sometimes I even put em on for a night out on the town.
As good as they look when they’re crispy, clean and white – they just as easily tend to get dirty.
Here’s how I’ve been cleaning my favorite white sneakers; the ultraboost.
How To Clean Adidas Ultraboosts
Step 1: The prepping stage. When cleaning the ultraboosts, I like to prep and clean whatever I can before putting em in the laundry machine.
I recommend you take an old toothbrush or rag and scrub the soles and cage of the shoe with some water and soap.
I also like to use disinfectant wipes on the same spots because it tends to clean off some of the dirt that you miss.
For the laces you can just hand wash them with soap and water.
Step 2: Throw the shoe into the wash. I use a rapid wash cycle (30 minutes) and use a very basic and simple liquid detergent without any extra dyes or perfumes.
Step 3: 5 Minutes into the wash cycle, throw in a small shot of bleach if you really want that brand new crispy white clean.
Step 4: Let it air dry. Typically your sneakers will completely air dry overnight.
