Accessories are an important part of fashion. They add a little bit of extra personal flavour to your outfit without taking too much attention away from the actual pieces themselves. Accessories that work all year round such as jewelry are great for this, but in the summer you’ll need a pair of sunglasses, so why not get yourself a dope pair.
As is with anything, the price of a nice pair of sunglasses varies massively. You can pick up a good looking pair of sunglasses for about $10 if you want, but don’t expect them to last. Cheaper sunglasses are ok but usually they are made of low quality plastic and are very flimsy in comparison to higher end options.
Mid-range sunglasses are going to run you somewhere between $100-$150. These will be much sturdier and will probably have first world construction too. Expect a pair of sunglasses within this price range to last you a long time. However, there isn’t many interesting options in this category. Lastly, high end sunglasses. These wont differ in quality from the mid-range models very much, but there will be a lot more choice. Once you get into this range, you can get almost any shape or style of sunglasses.
Much like a normal pair of glasses, the type of sunglasses you should get really depends on your face shape. I’d advise trying on a few pairs if you can so you can get an idea of what works for you. The most popular type of sunglasses right now are probably circular framed sunglasses. However, if these don’t work for you, don’t force it. You’ll look better in a different pair of sunglasses that work with your face shape than a trendy pair that don’t.
Below I’ve attached pictures of some of my favorite sunglasses for this summer.
