I own a lot of shoes, way more than I’d like to admit. But at the same time, I lack a category of shoe that I believe is the most important:
The smart casual shoe that is a sneaker but it isn’t a sporty sneaker.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my Nike running shoes and my adidas Ultra boosts, but a lot of the times when I’m opting to wear a simple outfit like a nice pair of jeans and a well fitting t-shirt I want to finish the look off with a smart pair of sneakers that aren’t meant for the gym or running – something flat soled, with minimal logos, preferably low-top and in a high quality material like leather.
As I searched for the perfect casual non-sporty sneaker, I decided to make it into a list to share with you guys.

Every shoe listed here is a personal grail of mine, something I absolutely would love to own when the time is right. The material, design and silhouettes are all top notch. These casual shoes are ones you can wear everyday if you take proper care of them.
I’ve found that when I buy a luxury shoe I’m a lot more aware in how I treat and take care of them which makes them last a lot longer than most of the other shoes I own – which in turn helps me save money, so they do end up paying for themselves in the long run.
